We look forward to seeing you all at our panel discussion titled “The Past, Present, and Future of Cooking,” held in honor of World Chefs Day on October 20 at the Şebnem Köseoğlu Conference Hall at Alanya University.

The 2025-2026 Academic Year Vocational School Orientation has been completed. We would like to thank our department heads for their contributions through their presentations and all our students for their participation. We wish them every success in the new academic year.

Our cookery programme lecturers,  Lecturer S. Lubabe Erdoğan and Lecturer Songül Çoban were at the University of Skopje in North Macedonia for the promotion of Alanya University.

Rector Prof. Dr. Mesut Güner, General Secretary of the University Yılmaz Aşıt, Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and Cookery Programme Dr. Esra Mankan and Nesrin Ellezer participated in the sensory analysis panel.

Our ''Gastronomy Talks'' continue in the Spring Term.

As Alanya University Cookery Programme, we also took our place in the 12th Alanya International New Year Market.

Within the scope of nutrition principles and menu planning course, we had an interview with our expert guest Cansu Tuğba Karaman Öcal.

It will be held with the participation of our 1st year students of the Cookery Programme within the scope of Food and Beverage Service course.

Within the scope of Gastronomy Tourism course, it will be held with the participation of our 2nd year students of Cookery Programme.

Within the scope of Nutrition Principles and Menu Planning course, our interview with Expert Guest Cansu Tuğba Karaman Öcal will be held on Tuesday, 29 November 2022. Gör. It will take place in Lecturer Şebnem Köseoğlu hall. Participation is open to everyone.

II. International Mineral Water Congress held in Istanbul between 17-18 November 2022 was held with the participation of Dr. Esra MANKAN, Head of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and Cookery Programme.
